Freswick dovecot |

The Freswick (ND377671) dovecot probably dates to the 16th or 17th centuries. It is a domed beehive dovecot with two doorways. The interior is blackened by smoke perhaps indicating re-use as a grain-drying or fish-smoking kiln. ( back to Industry, Farming and Enterprise ) |
