Excavations at Pulleyhour 2008
The dig starts in the afternoon of Sunday 23rd of March and finishes on the Friday 11th of April.

The working day will be from 9.30 am to 5 pm every day except Thursdays which will be the day-off weather permitting.

Volunteers are welcome; no experience is necessary - bring a packed lunch etc. and wet weather gear -expect to get muddy.

The excavation will be directed by Professor Richard Bradley of Reading University. The Pullyhour site is thought to be a small henge (a bank and ditch earthwork); it was probably built for ceremonial purposes.
